FAQs
What is the difference between the oil pastel, crayon, and colored pencil?
The biggest difference between the products is the consistency. All are similar is feel to the pastels, crayons, or colored pencils you would use on paper, so if you're familiar with those, you can expect these to perform similarly.
Oil pastels are the softest with a buttery, lipstick like texture. They apply in expressive, deeply pigmented marks that blend easily.
Crayons are medium firm with a buttery consistency and rich pigmentation. They're the middle ground between the pencils and the pastels and allow for more expressive marks while still allowing for tonal control.
Pencils are the firmest of my line and allow for the greatest degree of control. You can create very light, delicate lines all the way up to fully saturated marks.
